NACSW-Certified Instruction in K9 Nose Work in northern New Jersey.
About Lynn Christensen, CNWI
I grew up with dogs and at the age of 12, put a CD title on my dad’s duck hunting dog, a Lab named Cindy. In high school, I rehabilitated a dog who had been abused and have never been without a dog since. I trained dogs in Obedience, Rally, and Tricks and in 2015, I was introduced to K9 Nose Work. I was hooked.
Nose Work puts the dog’s natural abilities at the center of the sport. I never tire of watching dogs follow odor, and learning how odor moves based on what the dog in front of me is communicating. I have also experienced the JOY of seeing a dog transform from timid and tentative to confident and in command of the environment, all through Nose Work.
I am a certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI) with the National Association of Canine Scent Work (NACSW) and an NACSW-certified ORT Judge.
I actively trial in Nose Work with Story, in Elite, and with Hope, an Elite-Champion who trials in Elite-Select trials.
